A mythical flightless bird thought to be extinct is part of a small colony hiding away beneath New York Central Park. A lonely schoolboy accidentally stumbles upon the bird and soon discovers these mythical creatures possess magical powers. A single drop of their saliva can cure any life-threatening human illness. An evil villainous owner of a world-renowned biotechnology organisation, desperately seeking the next big thing in biotech, hears news of this incredible creature. The villainous biotech owner sets out to capture then kill all the birds and excrete their powers. The birds are captured and are about to be killed but then ‘to their rescue’ comes the lonely schoolboy, his mum and dad, some newly formed school friends and a Richard Branson type rival biotech owner. They all rescue the birds and the villain is foiled.
